St Breock

Parish Council

Welcome to the beautiful rural parish of St Breock – the largest in North Cornwall. Bounded to the North by the Camel Estuary, an AONB, the parish has a broad biodiversity with numerous SSSI’s.  In Cornish, our name is Nansant meaning ‘Holy Valley; which has at its centre the 13th century St Breock church.  The parish is rich with archaeological sites from the Neolithic period, an example here of the Men Gurta monolith, proudly standing next to some more modern ‘monoliths’.
